52 Week Project:  Week 2…..”Delicate”

So excited to take part in a 52 Week Project with a group of immensely talented photographers!  The way it works is every friday morning each of us will post our favorite photo/photo’s that follows the theme (OR our favorite photo’s of the week) and at the end of each post, there will be a link that will take you to the next photographer who is in the circle following the theme.  You will find the next photographer in the circle by scrolling to the bottom of this page.

Do you sometimes feel like life changes a little faster than you would like?  At times I want to say STOP! Wait a minute, let me think things over before we jump ahead to the next chapter of life.  I often feel this way about my children.  They are all three changing so fast and I am at times just not ready for it.  My youngest is in need of a haircut.  He looks a little like Einstein complete with ducky fuzz hairdo.  So my husband has been threatening to bring out the scissors and give it a trim. And…I am not ready for it.  I want to keep the ducky fuzz for a little while longer.  I want to think about it, absorb it, run my fingers through my little man’s crazy hair before he gets it trimmed and looks a little less like a baby and a little more like a boy.  So this is my way of holding on to the ducky fuzz and preserving another precious memory!

Take note of the long, crazy curl to the camera right…this chunk of hair almost always sticks out….I love it!  And in some of these images I did not take out the evidences of life when you are one and are constantly falling, bumping, crashing into everything.  There is a bruise above his left eyebrow to the camera left and a scratch or two in other parts of his face.
