THIS IS THE PICTURE THAT STARTED IT ALL!
22 years ago I had a beautiful baby boy.
I dug out my husband's pro camera from the closet and couldn't stop taking pictures of this sweet and tiny human that was my proudest and most precious achievement.
I printed this photo of my son wearing his great grandpa's hat and was officially hooked on photography! Photos allowed me to capture moments of my son's life that were so fleeting so fast!
It wasn't long before I started investing in my photography education. I took every class I could find, absorbing all aspects including the artistic, technical and posing side of portraits.
I was determined to not be simply good or mediocre but to get my 10,000 hours of mastery in to create artistic and emotive portraits that would bring joy to the families I photographed. I've far exceed my 10,000 hours by now but am still learning every day!

Tessa is absolutely the best in the business. I never have to worry if the photo will be ok because it's always perfect! She can take the worst conditions and make it magical. One of my daughter's favorite shoots was a rainy day where Tessa said let's go ahead with the outdoor shoot.
