I wasn’t entirely willing to go on this fishing trip with my family. It was a cold-ish Laramie night (yes!! even in July), the pond was infested with mosquitoes, and after having been with my boys all day, I was kinda ready for a break. I would have been okay chillin’ at home with a good book, a hot cup of coffee, and a cinnamon roll. AND some quiet.
BUT my husband talked me into coming along so instead of the friday evening I had been (secretly) dreaming about, I found myself chillin’ (as in bone-cold chilling) with our picnic blanket wrapped around me, swatting at hungry mosquitoes, and dining on the dubious supper we had picked up on our way over: taco bell tacos. Yes, I am a wimp, I do admit it, haha! But the fact that TB tacos don’t actually taste as bad as I thought when you are hungry (and a bit cold) and that I only had to scootch a bit to the right to get this shot made it all worth it! 🙂 🙂 Would I do it all over again? Probably. But there better be a thermos of coffee and a cinnamon roll involved next time!
Edited with a beautiful and versatile Kim Klassen (http://www.kimklassencafe.com) texture. Thanks for looking! 🙂
Gorgeous image! It has a surreal look to it – love the blurry background and the watery reflection, and the intense focus of the boys. Beautiful!
